About us
Moksha Ayurveda – A Space for Reconnection
At Moksha Ayurveda, we guide you on a profound journey back to your inner balance – with heart, experience, and a modern approach to this ancient healing tradition. In a warm, family-like atmosphere, surrounded by the natural beauty of Mallorca, we offer a safe and supportive space for true transformation.
“Moksha” is a Sanskrit word meaning liberation, knowledge – the path to the true Self. This guiding principle shapes everything we do. Our intention is not just to practice Ayurveda, but to make it a lived, tangible experience – through practical inspiration, genuine presence, and a deep listening to your personal story.
Our team combines in-depth Ayurvedic expertise with a mindful, Western-grounded perspective on human wellbeing. We work individually, with clarity and respect – free from dogma, but rich in depth.
Let yourself be inspired by our rhythms and rituals – and discover Ayurveda as a path to greater clarity, stability, and inner radiance.
Our mission
Healing Begins with Connection
We believe that true healing begins where you gently return to yourself – to your body, your intuition, and your needs. Moksha Ayurveda is a place that supports this process with care, professionalism, and a deeply personalized approach.
Our mission is to make Ayurveda accessible – as a living, practical path that can be integrated into everyday life in a European context. Through modern herbal medicine, individualized nutrition, and self-care rooted in mutual respect, we support people on their journey toward greater vitality, inner balance, and empowered wellbeing.
We stand for an approach to Ayurveda that is both deeply rooted and open to evolution. For rituals that create space. For rhythms that sustain. For knowledge that connects.
If you’re ready to let go, to feel, and to follow your inner voice – we’re here to walk alongside you. Step by step. At your own pace.
From Berlin to Mallorca
Nathalie Azkue Moukom and David Azkue are the founders – the heart and soul of Moksha Ayurveda Mallorca. With decades of Ayurvedic experience, a strong bond to the Vedic healing tradition, and a deep understanding of modern Western life, they gently guide others back to balance, clarity, and authentic self-awareness.
After eight years of working together at the family-run retreat center Ashoka Ayurveda and their clinic in the heart of the city, Ayurveda Kalari, Nathalie and David founded Moksha Ayurveda in 2021 – a place where healing, stillness, and lived Ayurveda naturally come together.
Their small Berlin clinic in Prenzlauer Berg continues to thrive as a refined Ayurvedic gem – a place where many have experienced their very first encounter with Ayurveda.
With Moksha Ayurveda in Mallorca, they realized their vision of a holistic retreat – a place where their three children could also grow up – surrounded by nature, rhythm, and the lived wisdom of Ayurveda.
Our team
Moksha Ayurveda Mallorca is supported by a dedicated six-person team who accompany you with professional expertise, embodied mindfulness, and heartfelt commitment. Our Ayurveda experts have been deeply rooted in traditional healing for many years – some of them have been part of our core team since the very beginning and remain an integral part of the Moksha family today.

David Azkue de Freitas
Ayurveda specialist & founder of Moksha Ayurveda integrates various healing traditions with the depth and clarity of Ayurveda—creating a unique, holistic space for regeneration and inner alignment.
His path is shaped by many years of studying Eastern healing systems such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, South Indian Kalari Marma Chikitsa, and Osteopathy. This knowledge flows mindfully and precisely into his Ayurvedic practice, enriching each treatment with profound depth. David’s special focus lies in the art of Nadi Pariksha—Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis—through which he senses the subtlest imbalances on physical, emotional, and energetic levels. He approaches each person with calm presence, subtle intuition, and sincere attentiveness. His quiet strength builds trust and opens spaces where deep transformation can unfold.
